Blog Post 15: Barn Conversion - More Progress Jun 20 Written By Tim Brown May 2023 - bedroom radiators installed … Main bedroom radiator … million dollar anthracite coloured valve has been wrapped in bubble wrap to avoid any possible damage :-) Ditto above for valve on guest bedroom radiator :-) The tiling in bathrooms has begun … This is progress so far in the main bedroom ensuite … the only thing is … the small slate tile wall should be in the wood tile … I’ll have to get that changed :-( Guest ensuite … nearly there :-) Kitchen fitting has started too … Did I mention that the contractors have had a change of heart re: their wish to install the kitchen on a fully tiled floor … they have taken on board my oath to never, ever, make any changes to the kitchen units (or anywhere else in the property for that matter :-) #toomuchhassle :-) ) so the kitchen is going in on the bare concrete floor as I originally planned with the tiling going up to the carcass feet. For me that works well because I didn’t have to move all the kitchen boxes into the living room whilst the kitchen floor is tiled … and …. fewer tiles saves me a wee be of dosh :-) The rest of the house still looks heap-lie-on though … … who knew a house needed so much damn cable :-) Tim Brown
